We have the pleasure of witnessing beautiful baby showers filled with friends and family who can’t wait to meet their newest member. Each and every shower is unique and beautiful in its own way! Some of our favorite baby showers recently are letting blue and pink fall by the wayside in favor of modern themes and elegant décor.
Western Wonderland
Wagon wheels, cowboy hats and paisley can be crafted into a surprisingly modern baby shower theme. Decorate with rustic touches of wood, bunting, rope and sunflowers. Your guests will love a themed menu of classic snacks, garden salads and small plates.
Bold Circus
Bright colors, big top tents, popcorn and cotton candy, elephants, ticket-shaped invites and strings of pennants serve as a cute backdrop for a coed or all ages baby shower. Carnival games will keep everyone busy until it’s time for the gender reveal!
Seaside Inspired
Two popular baby shower themes take their inspiration from the shore: nautical, anchor-filled parties and laidback, beachy get-togethers. Serve simple salads and fresh seafood to accent the other seaside elements: rope, stripes, navy and netting.
Wanderlust Influenced
Add a sense of whimsy to travel-themed décor and games for a unique yet elegant baby shower. For a hint of the traditional, add small nods to baby’s first mode of transportation – the stork.
Gender-Neutral Monochrome
While pink and blue have fallen out of favor with modern moms, gender-neutral colors on elegant details are very much in style. Mint green, sunny yellow and pale orange are all gracing décor and sweets.
Old World Glamour
Vintage-inspired baby showers are filled with gold accents, strings of pearls, delicate flowers and maybe even a pram. Detailed décor and tablescapes call for a delicious cocktail menu of hors d’oeuvres and sweet treats.
Sweet Lullabies
Turn a popular lullaby into a beautiful baby shower. Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, Rock-a-bye Baby and You Are My Sunshine are all excellent candidates. The same can be done with classic children’s books and characters, including Goodnight Moon, Peter Rabbit and Winnie the Pooh.
